The Journey - Week 2

Our size changes how we view the world. Hence, each of us view the world a little differently. Someone who is tall would see a view that a shorter people could not, and vice versa. For what is just a grass patch with weeds and a few flowers for us, could be a whole garden of trees, bushes and flowers for Thumbelina.






Butterflies are fragile creatures, hence it is said that the intensity of their colours indicates how "healthy" a forest is. Therefore, you can only ever find truly beautiful ones in rural areas and the wild.



Clouds casting shadows upon the land beneath them always remind me of how vast the world is.

It is believed by the Chinese that the beginning of spring is a day where balancing an egg on its ends is easiest due to a stronger gravitational pull. There are a lot of theories dismissing this phenomenon, but nevertheless, it is these beliefs that make a culture interesting.
